Silicone Spray

A multi-purpose silicone spray is one of the most versatile tools in any South African garage, offering non-staining lubrication and moisture protection for a wide range of surfaces. At Midas, we recommend using it to keep door seals from sticking, stop squeaks in seat runners, and protect plastic trim from turning gray due to sun exposure. Because it is water-resistant, it also provides an excellent barrier against corrosion for under-bonnet components.

For electrical components that require cleaning without lubrication, our Contact Spray is a better fit, while Engine Cleaning should be performed before applying silicone to rubber hoses. If you are cleaning the interior, silicone can be used on dashboard surfaces for a high-gloss finish alongside our Interior Cleaning products.
